How fast does the hoverboard go? What’s it’s top speed? Is there a “learning mode?” What happens when the hoverboard reaches it’s top speed.
2. THE MAXIMUM RANGE OF THE HOVERBOARD
How far does the manufacturer say that you can theoretically go? Is this a reasonable estimate or have they just inflated the number for marketing?
3. THE HOVERBOARD’S BATTERY
We have all become slaves to the all mighty battery. How long of can you use the hoverboard before you need to recharge the battery? Also, how long do you have to wait for the battery to recharge.
4. THE MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
How long is the warranty that comes with your hoverboard? What is covered by the warranty? More importantly, what isn’t covered by the warranty?
5. THE PRICE
Probably the most important thing to consider, how much will it cost to buy the hoverboard. Are there multiple places where you can buy it? Are there deals or other discounts available.

WHICH HOVERBOARD PRICED UNDER $300 SHOULD YOU BUY?
Now that you’ve seen both the Monorover and the Zipppyboard, how do they compare?
Monorover is the basic hoverboard that you see sold everywhere. There’s nothing that really makes it stand out when compared to other brands, though the bulk discount is nice if you happen to be needing to buy several hoverboards. Also if you wanted to buy a R2 hoverboard under $300 you are limited to white or black. The red and blue versions are both $100 more.
Zipppyboard on the other hand blows the Monorover away. Granted the performance specs are roughly the same for both hoverboards, but the Zippyboard also offers these:

WHICH IS THE BETTER HOVERBOARD: HOVERTRAX 2.0 VS POWERBOARD?
Comparing the Hovertrax and the Powerboard used to be easy for me to do. The Powerboard used to be the better hoverboard. Now it’s beginning to be a little hard for me to universally recommend the Powerboard. While the Hovertrax is still crippled by the slower top speed and shorter battery life, the ability to quickly change batteries may tip the scales in its favor.
But not enough for me to recommend the Hovertrax over the Powerboard.

WHICH IS THE BEST HOVERBOARD WITH BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS UNDER $600?
Looking back at the Skque vs the DailySaw from StreetSaw you can clearly see that one is better than the other. The Dailysaw is faster and goes farther for longer, while costing only a few dollars more.
Getting those few dollars extra is sometimes not possible, and if you’re willing to trade-off a little bit of performance, you can get Bluetooth speakers and LED lights in your hoverboard for under $500.

Even after having looked at all of these hoverboards, it’s difficult to choose one and saw that this is the best hoverboard. Because the self-balancing scooter that’s perfect for me, might not meet the next person’s needs. Here are my recommendations based on this mentality.
ARE YOU TRYING TO GET THE CHEAPEST HOVERBOARD?
If you’re looking to buy a hoverboard for sale cheap, then you’d be crazy not to look at the Zippyboard two-wheeled hoverboard. Unlike other cheap hoverboards, the Zippyboard has decent speed and battery life. It includes a 1-year warranty and free shipping. All of this and it only costs $260! It’s a great low cost hoverboard.
YOU DON’T WANT A BASIC HOVERBOARD, BUT YOU CAN’T SPEND TOO MUCH.
After the low cost hoverboards the next price tier is around $400. For that price you can get a hoverboard that’s got decent performance and value. Instead of the Powerboard, my recommendation is to get a Swagtron T1. It costs the same and Swagtron T1 has a few extra features that make it a safer and more reliable hoverboard.
If you decide on either a Powerboard or the T1 to buy the hoverboards on Amazon. You’ll get fast shipping, and if you buy a hoverboard on Amazon, you can get a SquareTrade Extended Warranty. It will only cost about $35, but will give you an extra 2 years of warranty protection. Buying the extended warranty from the official site will cost you $99-$139 more. This is also true if you decide to buy a Hovertrax, if you get it on Amazon, you can get the extended warranty.
IF YOU NEED A HIGH-PERFORMANCE HOVERBOARD OR WITH BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS.
